How do great performers deal with failure?

They treat a loss as a single moment, not a verdict on who they are, and keep their focus on what comes next.

"In the 1,526 single matches I played in my career, I won almost 80% of those matches. Now, I have a question for you. What percentage of points do you think I won in those matches? Only 54%."

01:53

"It's only a point. Even a great shot, an overhead backhand smash that ends up on a top 10 playlist, that too is just a point. When you are playing a point, it has to be the most important thing in the world. But when it's behind you, it's behind you."

02:14

This mindset is really crucial because it frees you to fully commit to the next point, and the next point after that, with intensity, clarity and focus.

02:31

The truth is, whatever game you play in life, sometimes you're going to lose. A point, a match, a season, a job.

[07] Why Samurai Memory

Get the most out of what you watch.

Most YouTube AI tools give you a paragraph and forget it the moment you close the tab. So do you. Samurai keeps everything, so you can find it, check it and use it later.

Typical YouTube summarizers
  • A paragraph, and that's it
  • No way to check where a claim comes from
  • Gone when you close the tab
  • One video at a time
Samurai Memory
  • Full transcript, summary, chapters and AI chat
  • Every answer links to the exact minute in the video
  • A permanent library with highlights, folders and tags
  • Ask and search across everything you've saved

[10] FAQ

Questions,
answered.

What is Samurai Memory?

A browser extension and a web app that help you remember what you learn from YouTube. With one click, a video's full transcript is saved to your library. There you get a summary and chapters, ask the AI, highlight what matters, and search or ask across every video you've saved. It was called Samurai Summary until 2026.

Is it just another YouTube summarizer?

No. The summary is the start. Samurai keeps every video in a library you can search and ask questions to, and every answer links to the minute it comes from, so what you learn doesn't disappear when you close the tab.

Can I save a whole playlist?

Yes. Select videos as you browse YouTube, or a whole playlist at once, up to 50 at a time, and import them into your library or a folder.

How does it get the transcript?

The extension reads the captions of the video you're watching, only when you click its button. It works with any video that has captions, including YouTube's automatic ones, in any language.

Can I ask questions across multiple videos?

Yes. With Ask AI you pick a folder, a tag or a few videos and ask one question. The answer brings together what each video says, and every point links to the video and the minute it comes from.

How can I check that the AI is right?

Every chat answer cites the minute it comes from. Click it and the video plays from that moment, so you can hear it for yourself.

Which browsers does it work with?

The extension runs on Google Chrome and Firefox on desktop (get it here). Your library works in any browser, on desktop and mobile, at app.samuraimemory.com.

Is it really free?

Yes. The Free plan gives you 5 new videos and 10 Ask AI questions every month, with every feature, forever. Your videos stay in your library even when you reach the limit. Pro removes the limits, monthly or yearly.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from "Manage billing" in the app and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

Is my library private?

Yes. Your videos, chats and highlights are visible only to you. We never sell your data. Read our privacy policy.

How do I get help?

Write to hello@alwaysbeta.co with any question, problem or idea. A real person reads every email and gets back to you. From the app, use "Help & support" in the settings menu.
